Fruits &
Vegetables
Moving fast: Fall raspberries are in at Popps Farm good thru October. Some blueberries still. Most blackberries are done. Ground Cherries are getting more plentiful - so sweet. Fresh juicy watermelons are here. At least a couple of kind of apples now, and maybe some more plums.
Look For: Radishes, baby beet greens, carrots. Cauliflower is here and broccolini is radically good. Hot peppers for drying and salsa in wide variety. Lots of cabbage, string beans, onions, corn, tomatoes, eggplant, peppers, new potatoes, summer squash, mushrooms as they come up.
