Bring a Symbol of Your Labor

On Sunday, September 4 we will join many other congregations across the nation to celebrate Labor in the Pulpit Sunday. Please bring a symbol of your labor to contribute to a collection that will be recognized and blessed during worship. Think broadly about your labor: paid employment, volunteer work or assistance offered others.

Food for Thought Initiative
The Food for Thought Initiative is currently providing food pantries for East High School and Sandburg Elementary School, where poverty levels are high and the need is great. The Initiative is also organizing a weekend program to provide food to homeless students and their families (if they are living with them).
