4-H Volunteers Wanted!

There are many opportunities for you to be a volunteer - both youth and adults are needed. Please contact MaryAnn Anderson if you are interested in being a volunteer!

It's almost time for our annual Awards and Recognition Banquet

All 4-H families are welcome come to celebrate membership and achievement of LqP 4-H members on Thursday, October 5, 7:00 pm in the Multi Media Room.

Back by popular demand, LqP 4-H presents "Be a Cloverbud!"

ALL youth in Grades K-2 are invited to participate in Cloverbuds starting this fall in Dawson & Madison schools. Watch for flyers to come home from school.

Spectacular Science dates have been scheduled

All youth in Grades 3-6 are invited to participate in Spectacular Science adventures held monthly in Dawson (Tuesdays) & Madison (Thursdays). Flyers will come home from school.

Remember to sign up for Club Officer Training!

Lac qui Parle Club Officer training will be held Thursday, October 26th at 7 PM in the Lac qui Parle County Annex, Madison, MN.

2017 Fall Leader Training: Expanding Our Roots - Growing New Opportunities

The 2017 Fall Leader Training will be held in LqP County on Sunday, October 29th @ 4pm in the Multi-Media room - County Annex, Madison.

Attention 4-H Ambies: "Let's Be Leaders!"

Youth in Grades 7+ who want to be a LEADER in the county should make plans to attend on Saturday, October 7th.

Cancellations and postponements due to bad weather will be announced on KLQP-92 FM.
Take time to report what your clubs are doing to the local media.
Adults from Big Stone, LqP, Pope, Stevens, and Swift counties are invited to a 4-H Project Leader Training on Saturday, December 2nd at the WCROC - Morris.
Plans are already underway for the 2018 Regional 4-H Camp in Morris and we will be looking for camp counselor applicants starting in November.

Associate dean and state 4-H director Dorothy Freeman invites you to celebrate your 4-H story during National 4-H Week, Oct. 1-7, 2017.
Re-enrollment for 4-H members and adult volunteers is open. The volunteer re-enrollment period is Sept. 16 - Oct. 31. And remember, starting this fall, 4-H volunteer enrollment will last for three years.
The newest in the Discover Minnesota 4-H video series is ready just in time to start recruiting participants for the Minnesota 4-H Science of Agriculture Challenge.
February, 2018 BLU regional leadership workshops dates and locations have been posted. These Minnesota 4-H State Ambassador hosted workshops include hands-on activities, games, small group discussions, and social activities. All youth grade 6 - one year past high school are encouraged to attend!
