Dinner Lecture at the Rookery
Lake Baikal
Thursday, October 27

Join Rick Erickson, science teacher at Bayfield High School, to hear about his adventure accompanying students to Siberia. You will hear stories of their Lake Baikal experience, and you will hear about the friendships formed with people who live near the other largest freshwater lake in the world.

The program begins at 5:30 PM, with optional dinner and conversation after the presentation. Register in advance by calling the Cable Natural History Museum (715-798-3890). $5 member/$10 non-member.


New Autumn Hours

From now until Christmas the Rookery will be open 5 nights a week, Wednesday thru Sunday (closed Mon/Tue).

As for the holiday season, we'll make a decision based on advance reservations whether  to be open for dinner on Thanksgiving Day (Thursday, Nov 24), Christmas Eve (Saturday, Dec 24), and Christmas Day (Sunday, Dec 25).

If you're interested in joining us any of these evenings please call to reserve at least a week in advance. Special holiday menu options to be announced.
