2012 Ministry Summit: Leadership - Shifting from Management to Mission
The world is constantly changing but our need for God is not. Ministry in a changed and constantly changing mission field requires learning new ways of outreach rather than relying on standard practices. Being efficient at what we do as ministry leaders is not the same as learning to be effective at what the mission field needs. Laity and clergy leaders are invited to explore some of the fundamentals of the change that the church is facing at the 2012 Ministry Summit, which will focus on the leadership of our congregations. Understanding the need for clear outcomes in any situation and the leadership role of conversation as a tool of discernment will equip attendees at any level of leadership to build upon and expand the mission outreach of their congregations.
