Welcome to our New Membership Manager
The Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce has named Pamela (Terry) Coffey as the Chamber's new membership manager. Coffey has served on the boards of both the Oxford and Huron Valley Chambers of Commerce. She was also a board member of the Highland White Lake Business Association. Her service to the Huron Valley Chamber of Commerce was recognized when she was named Ambassador of the Year in 2012.
A resident of Rose Township, Coffey is married to husband, Gregg, and together the couple have five grown children and one grandchild. Gregg, a former automotive engineer, crafts custom handmade traditional archery bows, which he sells worldwide. Pam supports his business administratively and also sews the bow cases that accompany each Java Man Archery bow that Gregg sells. Pam has a solid understanding of the vital role Chamber membership can play in a business. "I love being involved with Chamber folks and have been a member of six different chambers over the years," said Pam. "I know the value of the Chamber to local businesses, and to the community, and I have a passion for sharing that information."
In addition to running a family business, throughout her career Pam has gained valuable insight into the challenges of running both large and small businesses. Previously, she served as the business development specialist with Independence Villages of White Lake & Waterstone in Oxford, as director of relationship management for Family and Aging Law Center in Milford, and as owner/publisher of the Huron Valley Hometown Connection Magazine.
