THANK YOU SPONSORS & VOLUNTEERS!
This year's 12th Annual Lakeview East Festival of the Arts was a huge success for all those involved. We want to thank all of the artists, volunteers, Arts Committee members, Board Members, musicians, vendors, and sponsors who helped to make this year's event our best yet. A special thank you to our Presenting Sponsor, Treasure Island and our Co-Sponsors, LAZ Parking, Best Western Hawthorne Terrace, Pepsi 1893, The Cubs, Winehouse, Patch Landscaping, McGrath City Hyundai and Walgreens.

If you saw a piece of art that you liked but didn't get a chance to make a purchase during the festival, our 2016 Festival of the Arts website will remain up with a robust artist listing and sample work. Click here to take a look.

XO MARSHMALLOW LAUNCHES KICKSTARTER CAMPAIGN

XO Marshmallow, a Chicago-based, gourmet handmade marshmallow company launched their Kickstarter campaign. XO Marshmallow is at a point where the demand for more marshmallows is very high, but XO's current equipment is very small. XO Marshmallow is hoping to expand their business with a larger commercial kitchen, more retail and farmer's market exposure, and to grow their product line. XO Marshmallow is seeking $5,500 as their Kickstarter goal price. The campaign runs for 30 days.

XO Marshmallow is a gourmet, handmade marshmallow company created and run by Kathryn Connor and Lindzi Shanks. Their goal is to take that ooey-gooey memory of sipping a cup of hot cocoa topped with mini marshmallows, and that summer-camp nostalgia of your first s'more, into the 21st century with a modern twist! XO marshmallow offers 13 flavors including champagne and salted caramel. XO is currently sold online via Etsy and ships nationwide. Visit their website here.

WELCOME NEWEST CHAMBER MEMBERS
CHICAGO DINER

We'd like to welcome The Chicago Diner as a new Chamber member. Thirty-plus years ago, owners Mickey and Jo forged ahead with their vision of bringing vegetarian diner food (read, comfort food) to the Midwest. Using the highest quality and locally sourced meatfree ingredients, The Chicago Diner has surpassed their clientele's expectations. Not only have they opened a second location in Logan Square, they've also adopted vegan versions of all their menu items in recognition of the fact that animal-free is continually gaining ground.
