Dear Lancer Families,
This has been a year of challenges and opportunities. A fellow Lancer told me “Tough days come and go, but tough people endure.” It is in this spirit that I am very proud of the hard work of our students and staff, who are committed to learning and growth. We believe in ourselves, and we will never give up. We are very are focused on the work of our School Improvement Plan so that we can see the best results for all of our students.

AmeriCorps Tutoring Volunteers Needed
|
Studies have shown that high school math scores are a key indicator in academic success. Even more specific, students who pass Algebra 1 their 9th grade year are 75% more likely to excel. Achievement Connections High School Math Tutoring is seeking volunteers to tutor at La Follette. Our operating hours are 8am-4:30pm M-F and we ask for a commitment of 1 hour twice per week at La Follette High School working one-on-one with a student.
By tutoring, you will be the key component in achieving our mission in tutoring over 300 Dane County students this year, sustaining students' growth, and gain a liberating volunteering experience.
