Landmarks Illinois kicks off its Spring
Preservation Snapshots Lecture series with a discussion on the South Side Community Art Center, which has been
an important incubator for the development, endorsement and support of the work of Chicago's African American artists since it opened in 1940.
Maséqua Myers, SSCAC Executive Director, will discuss the past, present and future of the South Side Community Art Center - its historic building and its human story.
