Five Medals for Lanthier Winery at International Wine Competition
Lanthier Winery brings five medals from the Finger Lakes International Wine Competition
MADISON, IND. - May 7, 2011
Lanthier Winery was awarded five medals from the Finger Lakes International Wine Competition in Rochester, New York. Winning silver medals was Lanthier Winery's own Festival Cherry and Chautauquablumchen, while Blackberry Social, Rifleport Red and Strawberry Blush brought in bronze medals.
Finger Lake International Wine Competition is the largest charitable wine competition in North America. All net proceeds benefit Camp Good Days and Special Times. Located in the heart of New York State's Finger Lakes wine country, this not-for-profit organization is dedicated to improving the quality of life for children, adults and families whose lives have been touched by cancer and other life-threatening challenges.
Award-winning wines will be featured at several public events following the competition, including the annual wine auction dinner in May to benefit Camp Good Days and Special Times, which attracts nearly 1,000 wine aficionados and collectors.
Stop in and taste the newly award wines, along with the other handcrafted wines, Wednesday through Sunday to 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 123 Mill Street, Madison, Ind.
