Four more medals for Lanthier Winery at 16th Annual Great Lakes Wine Judging
Lanthier Winery brings four more medals home, two silver and two bronze
MADISON, IND. - May 23, 2011
Lanthier Winery was awarded Oakland Community College (OCC) Great Lakes Wine Competition in Farmington Hills, Michigan in May 2011. Winning silver medals was Lanthier Winery's own Blackberry Social and Rifleport Red, while Strawberry Blush and Cranberry Grande brought in bronze medals.
This makes nine medals Cellarmaster Chris Lanthier has won in the last month. The objectives of the OCC Great Lakes Wine Competition is to encourage and stimulate continuing improvement in the quality of wines from the regions bordering the Great Lakes, enrich the reputation of the Great Lakes as a wine growing region, and create a scholarship fund to support the education of students in the Culinary and Restaurant Management programs.
