Celebrate New Year's Eve at the Rookery
New Year's Eve is just a few days away.
And per tradition, the Rookery is featuring our
fabulous five course New Year's Eve feast to mark the occasion. Starring, as always, Maine lobster. Including our
lobster bisque. Described by some regular New Year's Eve guests as "
Yet Chef Tim has been working hard to compliment these tasty crustaceans with some delectable new twists to our special five course menu. As a result, we truly believe this will be our best New Year's Eve feast ever!
And adding to the ambiance once again will be Madeline Island 12 string guitar virtuoso, Ric Gillman
. Ric has recorded, played, and toured with some of the music industry's best regional and national talents. His duo performances (with fiddler Bruce Bowers) always are among the most popular of our summer outdoor concert series. Ric has been so well received by our guests in the past that he's essentially become part of the Rookery's New Years Eve tradition, joining us this year for the fourth consecutive time.

The Rookery's New Years Eve Feast
zesty baked crab cakes with orange dill aïoli
the Rookery's legendary Maine lobster bisque
ginger poached pear salad
Chardonnay lemon steamed Maine lobster tail & coffee rubbed tenderloin filet
served with gratin dauphinois (made with purple Peruvian potatoes) and a
portobello mushroom stuffed with spinach, garlic, and sun-dried tomatoes
live music by Ric Gillman on 6 and 12 string acoustic guitar (5:30-9:30 PM)
All this for $99/person. Reservations are required (715-794-2062). Please note our regular menu is not available on New Year's Eve. Limited substitutions may be possible with advance notice.
Christmas to New Years Holiday Hours
The Rookery will be open EVERY evening from Wednesday, December 21 thru Sunday, January 1 beginning at 4:30 PM (including Christmas Eve and Day).
On New Years Eve we'll be featuring our special five course feast, by reservation only.
