Today is the Deadline to Register for the G4 Summit

The 2017 G4 Summit will be held February 21, 2017 at the Omni Interlocken Resort in Broomfield, CO.  The annual event brings together representatives from across the golf industry in Colorado for a day of networking and learning in a dynamic setting.  This event is a true "can't miss" event on the 2017 calendar.

The deadline to register is today (Thursday, February 16, 2017) at 3:00pm!

TopGolf Set to Host Teaching and Coaching Summit

TopGolf Centennial will be the host of the 2017 Teaching and Coaching Summit presented by K-Vest, GolfTEC and the PGA Tour.

The event will be held on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 from 9:00am to 4:00pm. The event will feature two of the brightest minds in the golf industry today; Dr. Bhrett McCabe and PGA Professional James Sieckmann.

USGA Tournament Management Club (UTMC) powered by Golf Genius Seminar to Follow Spring Meeting

Rory Luck, Regional Account Manager with Golf Genius, will host a 3-hour long  USGA Tournament Management Club (UTMC) powered by Golf Genius seminar following the Spring Business Meeting.  The seminar will run from 12:30p to 3:30p on Monday, March 27, 2017.

The nomination process for 2017 Colorado PGA Special Awards is underway.  Nominations can be made by PGA Professionals for any award.

The deadline to submit nominations is Friday, March 3, 2017.

The process to submit your name for consideration for the Colorado PGA Board of Directors is now open. 

The deadline to submit your name as a candidate is Friday, February 24, 2017.

Gray Receives Superintendent of the Year Award

USGA, R&A Release Report Showing Negligible Distance Gains on Tours

After examining approximately 285,000 drives on seven major professional golf tours, the United States Golf Association and R&A released a second joint report Wednesday that shows between 2003 and the end of the 2016 season, average driving distance increased by just 1.2 percent on five of the seven tours.

On the Upswing

This year's three-day Expo, which concluded on Sunday at the Denver Mart, drew 9,136 people, the most for the show since 2014. The total was more than 1,000 up from last year's 8,130 and marked nearly a 2,000 person increase from 2015, which was a low-water mark for the DGE.
