Since 1999 almost $750,000 has been allocated to local church and church-related agencies in Northern Illinois Conference for  ministry programs.  More than 200 churches have received at least one grant from the Foundation.  

Funds are typically granted for new or expanded ministries or projects  - seed money to begin the new direction.  Grants generally range from $500 - $2,000.  If your church has an idea and a plan for mission-based programming, please check out the Grant Guidelines and consider applying by completing the

Timeline and Process

• Application deadline - September 15
• Members of the Grant Committee review requests and follow up for more information and to get a good understanding of the proposal - October/November
• Grant Committee meets and agrees upon funding recommendations - mid-November
• Board of Directors approves grantees and funding levels at its December Board Meeting.
• Grantees notified in writing (including those who did not receive a grant) - after Board Meeting
• Grants Reception and Distribution of Awards - mid-January
