Lunch on the Plaza
Record Breaking Year!



For the first time ever, we were able to host Lunch on the Plaza all thirteen weeks without a cancellation due to weather! This helped us reach a new record for full-season attendance with approximately 10,700 attendees!
Saving Grace Vintage
New Studio Opens


Recently the Saving Grace Vintage antique store at 614 W. Berry Street opened a studio extension around the corner on 729 Fulton Street just in time for the shop's fifth anniversary. A new studio was created to provide extra space for their workshops.
Fright Night 2016

Enjoy Downtown Fort Wayne's annual Halloween spectacular featuring the "Zombie Walk" and an incredible day of low and no cost activities at many great locations! Fright Night is an all day event from 10 a.m. - 11 p.m.! Fort Wayne's most anticipated Halloween event is bigger and better than ever with the 9th annual Fright Night! See you there!

Of all the positive feedback the Middle Waves Music Festival team received in the hours and days after last bits of glitter and confetti landed on the Headwaters Park lawn Saturday night, perhaps the strongest praise came from a member of the biggest act.

Cinema Center


Cinema Center's first film in their Sound and Shadow series this year is METROPOLIS joined by Metavari. Metavari is the moniker of Indiana-based electronic musician, Nathaniel David Utesch. Metavari's music is the intersection of nostalgic electronics, ambient soundscapes and off-kilter pop music.

Due to the weather the Clean & Green Volunteer initiative has been postponed until Saturday, October 1 from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. We appreciate your commitment to Downtown Fort Wayne and hope you can all join us next week for a great day of making a difference here in the Downtown community.

Annual Tire Amnesty Day, along with ongoing efforts with the Fort Wayne Street and Allen County Highway Departments, allow residents and neighborhood associations the opportunity to rid themselves of used tires in a responsible manner.
