This is our third quarterly report which includes some additional insights around top products being scanned, some of the US cities that are scanning, and the most popular 2D barcode campaigns by industry and code action.
Other key takeaways:
- Traffic increased over 800% from this time a year ago
- 2D barcodes saw more scans than 1D (UPC codes) for the first time since Q2, 2010
- Retail and media industries generated some of the most scanned 2D barcode campaigns
- Android OS continues to generate the most scans, but more come from the iPhone than any other single device
