Join Manchester Community Health Center to celebrate
#GivingTuesday
on November 28th, 2017. This annual event kicks off the season of giving.
This year Manchester Community Health Center is focusing on our nutrition programs, which provide much-needed services to families throughout Greater Manchester.
Our dietitian works with children and families to create eating plans to mitigate childhood obesity, help immigrant families acclimate to local food, transition infants to solid food feeding, and provide families in need with food from our emergency food pantry. Our nutrition services continue to evolve to meet the needs of the community, but we cannot continue to provide comprehensive nutritional care without our donors.
Show your support by donating to our
#GivingTuesday
campaign!

Each week for the past two years, Shannon St. Pierre volunteers at Child Health Services at MCHC in our family literacy program. Shannon meets with new and returning families to provide literacy support.
"I want to find out from attendees what they need," said St. Pierre, "Together with the student, we create a goal and work towards that goal."
Most of the family literacy participants that Shannon meets with are adults, and many come in looking for help studying for their GED, citizenship test, or are seeking help building English skills to use in their workplace. "I enjoy seeing the progress each week and the participants' enthusiasm to learn."
Thank you, Shannon for your ongoing dedication to Manchester Community Health Center and the Greater Manchester Community!
