CONGRATULATIONS to our 2016-17 MOTHER SETON AWARD recipient, Jason McCann
Since 2003, Jason has served the MBS Athletics Department in many ways. From coaching boy’s football, basketball, and baseball, to coaching 8th grade girls’ basketball, to announcing footballs games, running summer camps, to assisting with communications, Coach Jason has always made each player feel special. Jason can been seen around our campus giving Open House Tours, setting up and cleaning up after numerous events, and assisting flood victim efforts. Wherever there is a need for man-power, Jason has been there with a humble heart and a smile. He is a former Men’s Club member, former vice-president and was named “Men’s Club Man of the Year” from 2006 to 2007. Jason was awarded MBS Distinguished Graduate Award in 2014 and is an avid supporter of the St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
“Catholic education affords the individual the ability to grow both intellectually and spiritually in the Catholic faith, preparing them to live a life in Christ.”

Vacation Bible School Announcement
Dear MBS Parish Families,
After much consideration,
the decision has been made to cancel Vacation Bible School for 2017
.
The reasons for this cancellation are the construction that will be taking place this summer on the school campus, as well as the fact that many of our VBS Volunteer Staff and families are still in the process of rebuilding their homes from last year's flooding.
In preparation for VBS in 2018
, a committee will be formed to look at possible new formats that would enhance the VBS experience for our parish families.
If you have any questions, please contact the Office of Christian Formation at
751-5867
.
