News From Doosan 
Doosan Portable Power has released four models in their Tier 4 Interim (Tier 4i) mobile generator portfolio. The G150, G190, G240 and G325 mobile generators are new to the lineup of 10 Doosan models ranging from 25 to 570 kVA and became available December 1, 2011. In addition, Doosan is finalizing the development of new G70, G85 and G125 models to meet the 2012 Tier 4i regulations for the respective power ratings. LSA 42.3 Low- Voltage Alternator The newest addition to the low-voltage alternator range from Leroy-Somer EPG is the LSA 42.3: a new product meant for both generator manufacturers and users. The LSA 42.3 is a four-pole, three-phase alternator with a power rating of 25 to 60 kVA at 1500 r/min for the 50 Hz version and of 25 to 60 kW at 1800 r/min for 60 Hz. Available in a single-bearing or two-bearing version, the LSA 42.3 is a versatile alternator that is mechanically suitable for most engines on the market.

57 MW Of Peaking Power From Cummins Power Generation
Cummins Power Generation, through Cummins Energy Solutions Business South Pacific, was chosen to design, build and operate the plant for Infratil Energy Australia (IEA) at the Port Stanvac Power Station in Lonsdale, near Adelaide. Cummins Energy Solutions Business South Pacific has equipped the site with 36 C2250 05 generator sets with QSK60 G4 engines to provide a total electrical power of 57.6 MWe.
