Montgomery Road & Power Status
Township Public Works crews worked round the clock and most roadways are open and clear of snow or any impasses. We appreciate motorists' patience as our crews work to clear all roadways of downed trees. Please be aware that if there is also a wire or pole involved, for safety reasons Township crews may be 'on hold' until PSE&G is available to inspect.

Here is a list of roadways still impacted at this time:

-Dutchtown-Zion Road is now passable. Use caution around coned areas for trees partially in the roadway.

-Pin Oak Road is closed

-Jamestown is closed due to a low hanging wire

- Bedens Brook Road is closed at Cascade

-Hollow Road is now passable but not completely clear. Use caution for portions coned off due to trees partially blocking a lane.

To receive emergency info including road closures, subscribe to Montgomery Twp. Police's texts/emails via Nixle - on a cell phone, text your zip code to 888777.  Or from a computer, see messages at and customize your subscription selections.

We are aware that there are still scattered power outages affecting several households throughout the Township. Report all outages to PSE&G at 800-436-PSEG. The Otto Kaufman Community Center, 356 Skillman Road, Skillman remains available as a warming center/charging station today through 9 PM. For the latest power outage information, please go to PSE&G's Outage Map at:

As announced in this morning's ebulletin, starting tomorrow there will be extended hours at the Township's Container Facility, DPW Yard, 12 Harlingen Rd., Belle Mead, NJ 08502. See:
