Library Passes put Museums within Reach
This is a great time of year to plan a day's outing. Thanks to the Friends of the Library, passes are available that keep the region's cultural assets affordable.
Year-round passes are available to the New England Aquarium, the Children's Museum, the Museum of Fine Arts, the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, and the Museum of Science in Boston; the Peabody Essex Museum in Salem; and the Cape Ann Museum.
You can reserve passes online by going to and clicking on the "Museum Passes" icon in the left-hand column or by calling the library at 978-546-6934. Rockport library card numbers are required to reserve museum passes.

We'd like to hear from you
We've begun work on a long-range plan for the library. Focus groups are being scheduled to gather your thoughts about the present and future of the library. We hope you will participate in a group if you are able.
A town-wide survey will be compiled and circulated early
in the summer. Your ideas will
help us strive to meet community needs in the
years ahead.
Can you lend us a hand?
The Library has several volunteer opportunities for folks of all ages.      If you enjoy the library and would like to be part of our volunteer crew, please contact Library Director Cindy Grove at
