Hung Restaurant Fundraiser
First
of all, I am delighted to announce the next in our string of
fundraisers and networking events. In keeping with our support of
the small businesses in the area, we will be meeting at the Pho
Hung Restaurant, located at 13633 Connecticut Avenue, Silver
Spring, MD 20906 on Wednesday, August 4 from 7-9 PM.
In the last few weeks, I have had the honor of speaking with hard
working people and families about how we can continue to build on
an already fantastic community. I can think of no better
opportunity than events like this upcoming Wednesday for people to
come together and discuss what is best for our children's future
and ours.
Join my friends and me as we enjoy good food and even better
company as we plan for a brighter future for our community. This
future is not obtainable without your help. Please consider making
a donation of $50, $100, $250 or any other amount to help give me
the resources necessary for a win on September

Weekend Canvassing
Efforts
 My
top priority as Delegate will be to help small business owners
maintain and grow their businesses and create new jobs. As
evidence of my commitment to helping small businesses, who are
responsible for 80% of new jobs that are created, the campaign will
travel to various restaurants in the 19th District on the weekends
as the starting and ending points for our canvassing effort.
For our first two Saturdays, we have used the Pho Hung restaurant
in the Aspen Hill shopping center. Last weekend we used the
Brazilian Bakery on Georgia Avenue, and this weekend we will use
the 3 Amigos Restaurant located at 13643 Georgia Ave, Silver
Spring, MD 20906. Stay tuned to learn of other restaurant venues
as we continue to support the small business owners in our
community!

you may have noticed, there have been some significant changes

I am delighted to announce the immediate launch of our new and
improved website. Join us and enjoy new features such as social
networking tools, photo galleries, and an intuitive upcoming events
system, to name but a few.
We encourage you to keep looking back in the following days for
more additions to the website, such as videos from the campaign
trail and exciting ways to get involved and help send me to the
House of Delegates.
