For over 20 years, Plantworks has designed and developed the use of UV Rated "Polyblend" artificial foliage components for commercial exterior applications. Plantworks' design department has taken individual foliage and created major architectural elements.

The most recent just completed in March 2011 was nearly 3000 linear feet of a media Espalier Wall at the main entrance of the iconic Tropicana Casino Las Vegas. UV Rated Polyblend artificial exterior grade boxwood covered 27 individual units. Each unit was designed to be assembled on site in a serpentine fashion in two major sections. Some units held media screens and speakers for advertising and promotions. The project was manufactured at Plantworks Design Center over a period of 6 months.

Opened in December of 2010, The Cosmopolitan, Las Vegas has major applications of custom Juniper Topiaries, Assorted Vines and Grasses all UV Rated Polyblend exterior grade products. The Porte Cochere and three Pool Decks have extensive uses of the artificial forms in primary design accents.

As shown in the Tropicana project, special all weather frames were fabricated in steel and hand covered with Polyblend foliage. This material has remained colorfast for over 10 years in extreme weather conditions including wind, variable temperatures and desert sunlight exposure.
Plantworks warranties the Polyblend foliage for a full 5 Years to be Colorfast on all commercial projects.
Our landmark UV Rated exterior project continues to be The Peppermill Resort and Casino in Reno. This project completed over 3 years ago was a massive artificial plant landscape using UV Rated foliage specifically designed and manufactured.
Plantworks manufactured and erected Botanically correct 20 to 30 foot Italian Cypress trees. The trees were part of a sweeping landscape which included over 1000 artificial plants.
