Great dancing, eclectic food and the opportunity to connect with other people from diverse backgrounds draws an average of 3,000 people to the rooftop every Friday evening in August. These concerts were created to help break down racial barriers and bring people together for a night of free entertainment and dancing. Feel free to bring a blanket or lawn chair; seating on the rooftop is limited. Lake Vista Cafe will be open for your enjoyment. Food vendors open and cocktails are available for purchase beginning at 5 p.m. Picnic baskets are welcome. Sorry, no carry in alcohol. Concerts will be moved inside in case of rain.

Kickin' It for Kids benefit for REACH-A-Child

REACH-A-Child's mission is to collect and provide books and drawstring backpacks to help first responders comfort children in crisis."Kickin' It For Kids" brings family, friends, coworkers and neighbors together for a fun-filled day of activities for the whole family. Concessions, silent auction, team registrations, sponsorships, and general donations benefit REACH-A-Child. This is a FREE event for the public. Activities include: fire trucks, ambulance, police car, motorcycles, state patrol and sheriff from 1-4pm, concessions, bouncy house, kids reading area, volleyball, and kids vs. first responders kickball game at 2pm. Cinderella Cast Announced
Work Light Productions, producer of the Tony® Award-winning musical Rodgers + Hammerstein's CINDERELLA, is pleased to announce casting for the national tour launching in September and making its Madison debut Tuesday, October 4 - Sunday, October 9, 2016 at the Overture Center.
Tatyana Lubov steps into the glass slippers in the title role of Cinderella and Hayden Stanes plays the role of Prince Topher, Cinderella's dashing love interest.
Lubov is from Cottage Grove, Wis., and graduated from UW Stevens Point with a musical theater BFA. Learn more about the Overture Center show
