Latitude 33, the San Diego-based planning and engineering firm, recently promoted Tara Lake and Giovanni Posillico to partners. The addition of Lake and Posillico as associates expands the firm's leadership to eight executive members.

Lake's 17 years of private and public sector urban planning experience includes projects in residential, mixed-use and commercial entitlements along with land planning, landscape architecture, public sector planning and mobility planning. Successful in public outreach, she is adept at balancing the widely varied views of a community, developing group consensus, identifying and achieving goals and objectives while coordinating with elected officials and the general public. Lake is a member of Lambda Alpha International and was a 2014 Women Who Mean Business Awards finalist.

Posillico's background includes more than 15 years of experience in civil engineering land development, urban infill, single family and multi-family residential as well as commercial, military and institutional projects. His multidisciplinary approach allows him to excel at balancing a client's vision with project constraints and permitting requirements. Posillico, active in the local building industry, participates in the Urban Land Institute San Diego-Tijuana District Council and the Building Industry Association of San Diego County.
