That's a HUGE number and, according to research, it is rising in children. Diabetes was once considered a rare disease but no longer. Numerous studies have been conducted to determine if something as simple as laughter can help control blood sugar. One of the first studies I found, was not a study on laughter and diabetes but on diabetes itself, and was conducted in England.

That study had me digging further and showed laughter as part of the diabetes "medicine". Check out the following: University of Maryland and The Best of Health.

Laughter is easy, cheap and it sure can't hurt!
