Spark Model just announced an unprecedented selection of 1/18 scale models of cars from this year's 24 Hours of LeMans. A total of 18 large scale models are to be produced.

In addition to the LMP1 Audi, Toyota and Porsche teams, Spark intends to produce the two Corvette Racing C7R's along with a selection of leading Porsche and Aston Martin GTE Pro & Am entries and a brace of LMP2 prototypes.

No release dates accompanied the list, but since Spark's 1/18 scale 2013 LeMans models, including the 2013 LeMans winning Audi, the 2013 #8 LeMans Toyota and the Patrick Dempsey Porsche, all arrived last month (and are still available at TMC), you should be able to read between the lines.

Dealers have about a week to place their advance orders so I'll sweeten the deal by offering free US ground shipping for all 1/18 LeMans advance orders received by 11am central time this Friday morning

Since our schedule the next couple weeks is a bit on the hectic side, there isn't enough time for me to list everything Spark announced today on our Online Shopping site so I've uploaded 2 pdf files listing all 41 models (1/18 and 1/43 scale) HERE and HERE

Please email or call (800.722.8630) with your selections

Regarding the 1/43 scale National Series models on the list, these will be pre-order ONLY items. We will not be ordering extras, with the exception of the Donohue McLaren.

The 1/43 scale LaFerrari by Hot Wheels Elite is now in stock for $54.95 plus shipping.

On a more serious note, we pray Jules Bianchi is able to make a full recovery from last weekend's horrible accident in Japan. Our thoughts are with him and his family. We also mourn the loss of former Grand Prix driver Andrea DeCesaris in a motorcycle accident in Rome last weekend.

I'll be back with more later in the week.
