Dear Visionary Leader,
Do you believe you are preaching at your best or is there room for improvement? The first and foremost communication law is: Fill the pulpit and expect God to fill the building. I am thrilled and honored to be able to globally announce the upcoming North American Roundtable On Preaching scheduled to convene on January 22-24, 2013, in the greater Orlando area. There is only seating for 50 ministers!
North American Roundtable On Preaching
Dr. James Merritt, Founding Pastor of Cross Point Church, Duluth, Georgia, and Pastor Mark Balmer, Calvary Church Melbourne will be our key note presenters this year. Both of these leading pastors are dynamic communicators of God's Word with people coming to Christ each week.
Pastor Merritt is known for his gifted, biblical insights and for his ability to apply practical principles for saved lives. At the National Roundtable On Preaching, he will unpack for us, The Preaching Process For Success, that he applies on weekly basis. You will never view your preaching the same ever again!
Pastor Balmer founded Calvary Chapel Melbourne twenty years ago. Calvary Chapel Melbourne has become one of the strongest churches in North America. Each week, he delivers a compelling biblical message that is rich in Scripture and practical to his hearers. He will teach us How To Give Life Changing Invitations. Just this session alone will be worth the trip!
I will teach on Gutenbergers, Googlers & The Gospel. Even though we are living in a rapidly changing world, there are some principles that do not change relating to how people learn and respond to our preaching today. When you learn these communication principles, your preaching results will be higher than ever. On 50 ministers can join us!
A Magnificent Preaching Roundtable Location
The North American Roundtable On Preaching will be at the Hilton Hotel in Melbourne, Florida. You can either fly into the Orlando International Airport or fly directly to Melbourne and take the hotel shuttle to the Hilton Hotel. During our time together, we plan to go to the ocean and for those who enjoy golf, you will have the opportunity to tee it up on Wednesday afternoon. I cannot think of a more exciting way to grow in our calling, while at the same time, enjoying friends, walking on the beach or playing a round of golf with fellow ministers. Don't miss it next winter in sunny Florida!
Your Personal Invitation Is Now!
There are many things that we can do on a weekly basis. We can have our staff meetings, visit the sick, write letters, make phone calls and check out various things around the church facilities. Yet, if we are not ready to deliver a powerful message that stirs the heart, stretches the mind, serves our people and seeks the lost, then we have fallen short in our divine calling in this generation.
For too long, the ministry emphasis in North America has shifted from followership to leadership, from "get right" messages to "how to" series and from stronger in content to shorter in delivery. It is as though we have chosen to doubt our beliefs and believe our doubts rather than doubt our doubts and believe our beliefs!
I would like to personally invite you to make plans NOW to join us for the North American Roundtable On Preaching scheduled on January 22-24, 2013. The registration cost is only $295, including all of the video taped sessions, power points, and books. Your investment into your ministry will reap compounding results for the rest of your life! I cannot think of a greater way to begin 2013, than sharpening your preaching skills with us.
Until The Last Person Has Heard,
James O. Davis
