Learning Choices

May 2012
Greetings!

Thank you for becoming part of the Learning Choices network and participating in the national survey of programs and listing your program's details on the Learning Choices website. You can search for your program and view your program details here.

Learning Choices - A Map for the Future has just been released.

Download the report Associate Professor Kitty te Riele analysed data on 400 innovative and flexible learning programs with 33,000 young people enrolled in 1200 locations across Australia. This was based on the national survey of programs undertaken by the Dusseldorp Skills Forum in 2011. So thank you for taking part in this important survey.

The Conversation has covered the launch of the new report - read their editorial online here, Tens of thousands of students in alternative education.

More than 4000 young people are currently on waiting lists for alternative learning programs.

The report shows that many young people around Australia are benefiting significantly from the provision of innovative and flexible learning programs, yet there is a large unmet demand.
