Her name is Angela Box. She was a third-grade teacher in the Houston Independent School District and a guest on a local cable TV show, where she regularly spewed anti-Muslim and anti-minority comments.
On November 18 of last year,
CAIR-Houston asked the HISD Superintendent to investigate the impact of her on-air comments on her students.
And we kept the story in the public eye.
On December 4 Box was
forced to resign.
The lesson? CAIR fights bigotry and hatred, wherever it appears and whoever the victim is.
