Past Events - Now Available on Video!

In July, Dr. Jeff Ericksen explained how using Prolotherapy with Dextrose, Platelet Rich Plasma or Stem-Cells can help heal chronic joint, tendon and muscle pain.

In June, Dr. Gary Kaplan explained how inflammatory processes in the brain and central nervous system trigger and sustain a variety of chronic pain conditions, depression, and fatigue.

Also in June, Linda Timm, our dietician, gave a lecture about the gut's immune system and how food allergies, food sensitivities, and taking medications can affect not only our digestive system, but our overall health.
Greetings!

Information is power.  That's why we take the time to educate you about your health. This means longer visits for you and your physician to discuss your condition and your treatment options.  We wanted to do even more, however, so last spring we launched a lecture series on a variety of important health topics.

Listed to the left under "Past Events" are the lectures we've offered since June 2013. We are videotaping each presentation, so if you missed any, you can watch them at your convenience by clicking the links included in the side panel.

As a continuing part of our speaker series, on Thursday, October 3, Dr. Gary Kaplan will present on "The Gut-Brain Connection: Its Role in Chronic Pain, Fatigue & Depression."  More information about the program and how to pre-register is provided in the left column of this newsletter.

Education -- it's a critical part of integrative health care.  We hope that you find our series helpful, and we invite you to share these resources with your friends and loved ones.

As always, you have our best wishes for your optimal health,

The Kaplan Center Staff
