Check Lunch Account Balances:  Students Are No Longer Permitted to Charge Into the Negative
The school year is ending soon.  D oes your student have enough money in their lunch account to last until the end of the year? Is there a negative balance that needs to be paid?

As of this past April 28th, students are no longer permitted to charge into the negative on their accounts.  Please watch lunch account balances and pay off any past due amounts.  If you are unsure of your balance, ask one of the Kitchen Staff, call LPS Nutrition Services or check your account at MySchoolBucks.com

It has been our pleasure to serve you. Have a great rest of the year!

PLCs 2017-2018 School Year:  One Hour Late Start Every Wednesday
New Dismissal Time Will Be 3:49 PM

At its regularly scheduled meeting April 27, the Littleton Public Schools Board of Education approved changes to the 2017-2018 school-year calendar that provide a one-hour late start every Wednesday for teachers to meet in Professional Learning Communities (PLCs), beginning on August 23rd.

In addition to before- and after-school child care, elementary School Age Child Care programs will offer   one-hour PLC Late Start care for families at a reduced rate.

What does this mean for the 2017-2018 school year calendar?  An initial 2017-2018 school year calendar was approved by the Board two years ago. The only change to this previously approved calendar is that next year, school will begin one hour later every Wednesday so that teachers can meet in Professional Learning Communities.  Every school day will be six minutes longer than it is currently, to ensure that no instructional time is lost and to maintain compliance with the Colorado Department of Education.  Lois Lenski will be dismissed at 3:49 pm.

  preschool
The Village Preschool Still Accepting Registrations!

Registration is still open for the Littleton Public Schools "The Village".  Both Village preschools (The Village at North and The Village at Ames) accept children ages 3 and 4.  Three-hour morning and afternoon classes available, as well as all-day options.  District Child Find Team provides assessments and arranges for services for children with special education needs.  Head Start and Colorado Preschool Program provide funded preschool for those who qualify.  Click here for the Village website and click here to view the registration flyer.
