Trinity Sponsors IDignity Luncheon on Feb 15
As one of the founding churches of IDignity, Trinity is proud to sponsor one IDignity volunteer luncheon event per year -- this year on Feb.15th. The event on February 15 will be IDignity's first event at their new temporary location at the Salvation Army. Trinity will be sponsoring the lunch for all the volunteers who take part that day. We ask for you to prayerfully consider a small financial contribution (mark IDignity on your check memo line please) to cover lunch expenses for this day to support the work of this essential partner ministry is downtown Orlando. Do You Have Children in Grades K through 8?
Kindergarten through Grade 8 Registration for 2018-19 begins Tuesday
at Trinity Lutheran School. You are invited to meet Trinity's teachers for our Round Up and Round Table events at 4:30 or 6:30 on January 23 as our enrollment campaign begins. At identical hour-long sessions, VPK families will walk through a Kindergarten day and fly through an entire year's Curriculum (yes it is true that Trinity teachers do create miracles), while Grades 1-8 teachers lead conversations about Literacy, STEM, Student Services, and After School Programs at (you guessed it) round tables for small-group interaction. Trinity's next Servant Saturday event, where the Trinity Family goes out into the community to serve others, will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Redeeming Life Outreach Ministries in Sanford, Florida from 9am to 2pm. There will be an informational meeting held on Sunday, January 20th at 12:30 PM in the front portion of Fellowship Hall. If you can't participate but would like to contribute financially, we have an
expense of $21

Some of the areas that are needed for help:
Winter Cleaning-Living room and kitchen is in need of deep cleaning.
Refurbish Patio-Electrical expertise is needed to add a ceiling fan, staining or painting metal frames for patio furniture, hanging up pictures on cement walls, and help with redecorating with materials provided.
Mommy's Day Out- Need two babysitters to give moms a few hours without their child (16 yrs and above).
Wooden Swing- Knowledge of staining a swing.
2nd Patio- carpentry knowledge to add counter space for kitchenette, decorate with items given, and electrical expertise.

Carwash January 28
On Sunday, January 28th the 7th and 8th graders
will be washing cars to raise funds for their annual MS field trip to Washington, D.C..
outside the Magnolia Building from 7:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. ready to make the outside of your car look clean and sparkling! Park your car by the Magnolia Building before the church service your attending starts. An attendant will be there to show you a spot to park and collect a donation of your choosing. The students will wash your car while you're at church. It will be ready for you to pick up after the worship service. You'll find a special note from the students on your car - look for it on the windshield. All the proceeds will go towards their upcoming trip to Washington D.C.
We will also collect a free will offering that morning during worship if you'd like to support this fundraising opportunity but aren't getting your car washed! Thank you for supporting the 7th and 8th graders! Questions? Please contact Mrs. Strohschein at
Sunday Breakfast Fundraiser for TLS Students' Field Trip
Hungry before or after church? Come grab breakfast in the Fellowship Hall from 9:00am - 10:30am on Sunday,
. You can eat in the Fellowship Hall or take breakfast with you after the 8:00 service, take it to Bible Study, or grab a bite before going to the 11:00 a.m. service. The students will be serving pancakes, eggs, bacon, an assortment of fruit and pastries, juice, and coffee. All proceeds from this yummy breakfast will go towards the upcoming trip to Washington D.C. Want to learn about the trip? Student-made posters will be hanging up in the Fellowship Hall to tell you about the students and their excitement for the trip. Thanks!
Lenten Fellowship Dinners
Starting the Wednesday of Ash Wednesday, on February 14, we will have Soup and Bread dinners served in Trinity's Fellowship Hall from 5:30-6:45pm, wrapping up in time to head over to worship at 7pm in the Sanctuary. Chef Rich Poole will bless us with preparing wonderful soup and Trinity volunteer groups will prep, serve and clean up. Mark the dates on your calendar and make a point to come by for dinner on Wednesdays and enjoy this time of Fellowship with one another!

Touch A Truck, March 3
Touch A Truck is less than 8 weeks away! This is the schools' biggest fundraiser and a huge community outreach event for church ministry. We need your help to make it a success. There are many opportunities to volunteer. Currently we are in need of the following:

$20 CPR & First Aid Training - Feb 17
Trinity is hosting CPR and First Aid Training which is open to Trinity families and staff February 17, from 9am-12pm here on campus. The special reduced cost for the class is $20 per person.
