A family member made a passing comment this past week that rang true in my spirit:
He said, "Just as long as you let/allow another member of the family to DO what he or she wants, everything will be fine!!!
Can I get an AMEN!!??
Or when was the last time you and/or I passed a crew of men (and women) working on the roads and NOTICED only ONE person actually working!!??
The rest of the workers were seen leaning on their shovels and watching idly!!
The TRUTH is the found in the Scripture quoted above:

That CREW does not work for you-they have an EMPLOYER to give answer and results to.
1 Corinthians 4:5 (KJV)
5 Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God.
In other words-LET GO MY EGGO!!
God NEEDS NOT our input, advice, criticism, consent, and/or direction in other's lives.
And neither do they!!!!
Unless asked or invited, MYOB!!!!
In fact, "the world would be a better place!"
GOD REALLY THINKS HE IS GOD/LAWGIVER!

God even loves our worst enemies and demands we do likewise!!!

As an EXHORTER, I personally struggle with keeping MY mouth shut!
I "see" the error of loved ones and WANT to speak out warning, which too often ends in argument.
The OLD rock group MOODY BLUES said it best:

Hear counsel, and receive instruction, that thou mayest be wise in thy latter end.
But COUNSEL without request is too often MEDDLING!!
As I close out today's message, the "opportunity" to MEDDLE/ADVISE/COUNSEL was just afforded me.
I offered to help and advise but was rebuffed, so...............................
