This Thanksgiving, We're Thankful for YOU
The Pixie Project's second fundraiser auction on November 5th was a HUGE SUCCESS!
Four hundred of Portland's best arrived at Left Bank Annex to celebrate many successful animal adoptions and to help us grow so that we can help even MORE pets!
Donations ranged from fabulous hotel and restaurant packages to services and generous donations through our special appeal. We are incredibly proud to announce that the final tally was $110,000!
Pixie is now well poised to expand its space, adoptions, low income spay and neuter services, and educational outreach in local schools.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for helping us to help animals in need. We could not do this without you.

At Green Drop , everyone is always ready to help with mechanical
questions, a bike to loan, and a dog to pet!
Take a moment to read about their holiday promotion entitled , "Save Half, Give Half " which runs through TOMORROW, November 16th.
Using an online coupon model, every $40 Green Drop Garage eco-friendly oil change is now offered at $20. Of that $20, HALF will be shared with local charities which will receive $10 for every service that is purchased between now and November 16th!
And with the current state of the economy in mind, part of the promotion will be the addition of a new job at the garage!
Charities benefiting include The Pixie project, Bicycle Transportation Alliance, and Ways to Work. Customers may choose the charity at the time of the service.

Meet the Happy Tails Photo Contest Winner
A big thanks to all who entered our Happy Tails Photo Contest. We loved seeing all the amazing pics of happy pets in their forever homes! We're excited to introduce you to Flower (and owners Carol and Julie), our lucky winner.
Said Carol, "We adopted Flower in 2010. She provides us with daily laughs and doggy kisses. It's easy to forget what she "represents" until someone asks "what kind of dog is she- what a sweetheart." We reply, "This is Flower. She is a pit bull." They always leave having made a new friend.
