RoberCon returns in 2015, marking Roberson Museum and Science Center's third annual SciFi Convention.

Maintaining a two-day format, RoberCon 2015 will feature an expanded location for gaming opportunities at Binghamton High School, increased panel discussions, guests of honor, and, of course, our merchant area and fan group displays.

We are THRILLED to announce that Tamora Pierce, author of more than 25 books, including the famed THE SONG OF THE LIONESS quartet, will be our Author Guest of Honor both days of the convention this year.


We still have space available for RoberCon Vendors and Fan Groups.

2015 Regional Art Exhibition: 
Awards Recognition 

Roberson Museum and Science Center presented first, second, and third place winners during an opening ceremony for the 2015 Regional Art Exhibition in July.  The works of more than 40 regional artists are featured within the exhibition in categories including sculpture, photography, painting, and more. 
 

 

First Place Winner:

Third Place Winner:

Carol Frejie for "Carol's Mother, 'Rose'"


 

Works in the Regional Art Exhibition will be on display at Roberson through October 25, and many of the pieces are available for purchase.

Roberson will be hosting our third annual SciFi convention featuring comics, fantasy, gaming, discussion panels, costuming, and more.    
 
"Charity Pint Nights" at Water Street Brewing

As they say at Water Street Brewing Co., "Drink Well, Do Good." 

  Every Wednesday is Charity Pint Night at Water Street Brewing Co. with 50 cents from each pint sold donated to a local charity.

   Roberson will be the recipient of donations during the month of August!  

Be sure to stop in to Water Street on August 8, 12, 19 and 26.  While you beat the heat with a refreshing brew, you'll be supporting Roberson as you do.
