Immigrant Achievement Awards 2015  

Lethbridge Family Services - Immigrant Services honours the outstanding immigrants in the Lethbridge community. One of the awards is for sport, and the criteria is:

To recognize an immigrant who has made a significant contribution to the development/sustainability of sports programs; caused increased participation from community members or encouraged athletic achievement.

  • Lethbridge Curling Club - With a new curling season right around the corner the Lethbridge Curling Club will open up its doors for registration Tuesday September 8 starting at 10am.
  • Lethbridge Kyodokan Judo Club - Tuesday September 8th, 6:00 - 8:00 PM and Thursday September 10th, 6:00 - 8:00 PM at the Lethbridge Kyodokan Judo Club Dojo
  • Lethbridge Skating Club - Online registration open now,  or in person August 25th  (5:30 -7:30 pm) at Nicholas Sheran arena in the Community room & Sept 19th (10 am - 5 pm) at ENMAX Centre during SportFest
  • Lethbridge Synchrobelles - The Lethbridge Synchrobelles registration for fall programs is now open for swimmers age 5-adult.  Registration is available at www.lethsynchro.ca 
  • Lethbridge Roller Derby - JUNIOR League (girls and boys ages 8-17 )September 16, 2015 and September 30, 2015  - 6 - 7:30 p.m. West Pavilion, Exhibition Park  ADULT League (women and men ages 18+ ) September 13, 2015 and September 20, 2015 - 7-9 p.m. South Pavilion, Exhibition Park 
  • LA HotShots Airgun Club - is a recreation and competitive air rifle and air pistol shooting club. Family Drop-In Program is every Wednesday 7:00 - 8:30 PM, beginning September 9th; 1213 20th Avenue, Coaldale SportsPlex Basement. Bring your family; first time is FREE. Redwood Cup coming to Lethbridge
Remember that you don't have to have qualified to play for the 2015 Redwood Cup. Anyone from anywhere can sign up a team to play on the streets of Lethbridge October 1-3 with $100,000 in prizes, championship rings, and memories to last a lifetime at stake. Register at playon.ca
