Dear LISD Community,

We are excited about our first-ever Social Media Town Hall that will be broadcast live this evening from 6-7 p.m. on TownHall.LISD.net.This venue allows us the unique opportunity to update our community on the Strategic Design process that will serve as a guide for the district as it makes future decisions regarding instruction, budgeting, staffing, and facility planning. It is the culmination of our efforts that began with last fall's Education Summits. During the Town Hall, we will talk about the process and answer your questions regarding the Strategic Design.

Your insight is valuable and we want to ensure all questions are answered. I invite you to submit your questions now for this evening's Town Hall at info@lisd.net. Questions may also be submitted via Facebook, and Twitter with the hashtag #LISDtownhall. We have received some thought-provoking questions so far, but want to ensure every voice is heard.

Thousands of community and staff members have provided their valuable ideas and insight thus far. I'm proud that this plan is truly a cumulative effort of the district and community. I want to thank you all for your involvement and look forward to your continued participation as we move from planning to action.
