Nina Ranalli Oversees Library Programming

As part of the Avalon Free Public Library's reorganization, Avalon History Center Director Nina Ranalli will oversee programming at the Library.
Ranalli was hired as the Avalon History Center director in 2014. In addition to her role as director, she will lead a committee that steers the direction of the library's robust offerings by setting goals, choosing themes, and imagining creative new programs. She will work closely with Library Director, Erin Brown and the team to better integrate the Avalon History Center and the library in an effort to engage the community.

"I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to work together with library staff members and the wider community to shape the library and History Center's programming agenda, which has a long record of high-quality and engaging offerings," says Ranalli.

Prior to assuming her role at the Avalon History Center, Ranalli was the curator at the Naval Air Station Wildwood Aviation Museum. She received her bachelor's degree in Social Studies from Harvard University and a master's degree in American Material Culture from Winterthur Museum.
