The Peabody Institute Library will be changing over to the new Evergreen library catalog system over Memorial Day weekend.
As a result, the library catalog will be unavailable to all users and the library will be closed Saturday, May 26 through Monday, May 28.

Altered Book Talk & Reception

Books are magical. They nourish the body, mind and spirit as few other objects can. But even books that have been discarded can invite new creative directions.
Simple techniques such as cutting, folding, pasting, painting and the adding of found objects can transform discarded books into art objects known as "altered books." Voila! A second chance at amazing!
