February has finally arrived.  Winter is on the wane and spring is on its way. The weather still may be daunting but the library is planning many activities, lectures and programs that will have you willing to brave the weather. 

 

This month is National Take Your Child to the Library day! With the excellent displays, informative lectures and engaging programming we are guaranteeing that the whole family will find something fascinating to prompt a second trip!

For the month of February, Friends of Tolson's Chapel will have a display in the Sharpsburg library in honor of Black History Month. 
Every Wednesday we will also have hot tea or hot chocolate to enjoy while browsing the display.

Come celebrate Valentine's Day a few days early with your favorite children's librarians. We'll have stories, snacks, games, and a Valentine's craft project.
