 Decorate a set of coasters using tiles and a variety of scrap book paper to design a unique set. Join us to create some of the DIY crafts you have pinned or seen on Pinterest.

Scavenger Hunt
Saturday, July 8th @ 9:15
In honor of Founder's Day, come to the library and pick up ten images from around Sharpsburg. Once you have figured out where they are located, return the sheet to the library for a chance to win a Nutter's ice cream or Burkholder's gift certificate (both located in Sharpsburg). Must return the sheet by 1pm on the 8th. One winner per family. If you are a winner we will mail you your gift certificate.

Unfortunate Rakes
Sunday, July 9th @ 3:00

Jigs, reels and waltzes; stories of false love, faraway places and fierce pride; the Shenandoah Valley-based group The Unfortunate Rakes bring all these and more to their performance.

Lawyer in the Library provides FREE civil legal services in your community! Maryland Legal Aid attorneys and par alegals,
 law students, and volunteer
 attorneys will brief, one-on-one advice on a variety of legal issues.

No appointment necessary.

 Assistance provided on a first come, first-served basis.
Please bring all relevant documents with you.
Rube Goldberg Competition
Saturday, July 1st @ 9:00 am
 
Do you enjoy building things? Have a better way to get things done? This competition is for you! Open to everyone 1st grade to adult, your task is to find a way to do a simple task in a new and interesting way. This event will give you a background of Rube Goldberg and his inventions, the rules of the competition, and hopefully some good ideas! Prizes for the best inventions in each age group will be awarded at the Summer Reading Club Wrap-up Party.

The Fletcher Library in downtown Hagerstown is hosting it's 3rd Comic Con this summer! 

This event is FREE and open to all age groups! 

There will be a cosplay contest, gaming, crafting, vendors, guest speakers , and more!
