Wrapping Up the 15th Annual "A Novel Idea"
A Novel Idea 2018 wrapped up on Sunday, May 6, with a fantastic presentation by Rakesh Satyal, author of the community read selection No One Can Pronounce My Name . Satyal spoke about his book, his writing process, and his experiences as an editor. His presentation was preceded by a performance from dancers with the Kalabharathi School of Dance. The group performed a beautifully choreographed dance, Dashavatharam. A full album of Sunday's presentation and performance can be found online here. The Deschutes Public Library Foundation is grateful to the generous donors and sponsors who make A Novel Idea free to the public every year. If you'd like to support these types of programs, you can donate to the Foundation here
