CALIFORNIA DESERT CHORALE TO HOLD
AUDITIONS FOR ITS 22nd STELLAR SEASON
The California Desert Chorale (CDC) is beginning the build up to its 22nd Season and is searching for serious dedicated singers who are energized to be a part of this growing ensemble. The next audition will be held Monday, August 31 at 7:00p.m, St. John's Lutheran Church, 42695 Washington St. in Palm Desert. The upcoming fall auditions will be administered and conducted by Tim Bruneau, Artistic Director. California Desert Chorale is comprised of both professional and amateur singers who bring a wide variety of choral and solo experience to the ensemble. The level of commitment expected is significant and should be carefully considered before auditioning. Singers auditioning should be prepared to honor the required membership commitments, which include: a weekly Monday night rehearsal from September 2015 - April 2016 with occasional Saturday morning rehearsals. The season is also comprised of two very busy concert week schedules and occasional community service performances. Potential members should also understand that a portion of the group's concert repertoire is sung from memory, therefore, extra time and effort on your own, outside of the scheduled rehearsals, is required of all participants. Detailed preparation information and audition requirements is available online at CALIFORNIA DESERT CHORALE AUDITIONS and each audition will last approximately fifteen minutes. California Desert Chorale is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit charitable organization. For more information on how to support and be involved with the CDC, visit the chorale's brand new WEBSITE.
Press inquiries should be directed to Jeff Hocker, Hocker Productions at 760-409-1530 or [email protected].

PERFORMERS NEEDED FOR
PALM SPRINGS PRIDE CABARET SHOW
GREETINGS FROM BELLA DA BALL:
The Greater Palm Springs Pride is only months away. The Festival and the Parade will both be held downtown Palm Springs again this year. And, the festival will be a FREE admission event again!
Touching base with you about your interest in performing at Greater Palm Springs Pride on the Cabaret Stage. It will be located somewhere on or near Palm Canyon (layout plans still being finalized).

Please let everyone you know what the days are for this year's festival and parade and that it will be a free event!
Now, onto specifics about possibly performing at Palm Springs Pride. Please review and answer and email back to me. Please feel free to forward this to other potential entertainers. All responses are subject to review and consideration. Thank you!
1. Please let me know if you are interested in appearing at the Greater Palm Springs Pride. If so, continue onto the following questions:
2. Do you have a preference of Saturday or Sunday?
3. If time is available both days, would you like to appear both days?

5.Will you bring CD's with your songs? Or will you have musical equipment? (keyboard, guitar, band). If equipment, you provide and set-up must be quick and easy.
6. All song content, stage attire, stage presence should be G-rated as this is an outside event, open to all ages, open to public. Musical numbers should be under four minutes each.
7. Only one person back-stage (if needed) per entertainer as quick dresser. Non-entertainers do NOT remain back stage.
8. No smoking at any time on stage or dressing room.
9. All CD's must be presented to DJ/sound and/or cabaret manager a minimum of 45 minutes before your stage time. Please allow time for parking, walking, etc.

Stage time is subject to number of performers, type of music, etc. Vocalists may be 5-25 minutes, with possible break? Drag personalities may be 1-4 numbers with breaks between songs for changes if they wish. If you have a minimum or maximum you wish, please advise and that will be taken into consideration.
