Good afternoon all -

If you're active in the automotive space you should note that mid-market investment bank Lincoln International has hired Sanjeev Varma as a senior advisor. Sanjeev has a combined 34 years of automotive industry, investment banking and consulting experience with lots of time spent active in mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, marketing, strategic planning, and business development. During his 20 years working directly in the auto industry, he held senior positions at Magna Powertrain and New Venture Gear. He began his career with Chrysler in 1984.

Nautic has acquired Mikart, a contract developer and manufacturer of solid dose and non-sterile liquid pharmaceuticals. The company has lots of capabilities and its make products in tablet, capsule, or liquid form and packages them in bottles, blister packs, pouch and foil strip packs, cartons and trays. Mikart has 234,000 sq. ft. of facilities in Atlanta that meet and exceed current FDA and cGMP standards. Nautic acquired the business from retiring owner Miguel Arteche and at close Nautic appointed Michael Kallelis as the company's new CEO. Yesterday's big read...  Following the playbook it has used so successfully in the past, Arsenal is once again building up a specialty adhesives and sealants company. The firm's platform, Meridian Adhesives Group , has closed on the buy of Dalton, GA-based W.F. Taylor , a manufacturer of flooring adhesives for both hard surfaces and carpets.  Roy Seroussi leads the transaction for Arsenal.
