...as much as you have done it unto the least of these,  my brothers, you have done it unto Me...   from Matthew 25:40

Oh...the little things.

Those little things. Those little promptings. A smile here. A cup of water there. A word aptly spoken. A hug timely given.

As we each go about our day, there are a myriad of little things. Little things we do to bless the Lord by blessing others.

And today, I want to take a moment to say thank you.  Thank you to each one of you. For the myriad of little things you do every day.

To the one who picked up the trash in the parking lot...thank you.

To the one who prayed a blessing over the person in the next car...thank you.

To the one who smiled at the cashier and asked about her day...thank you.

To the one who drove the carpool with joy and purpose.

To the one who came early to turn on the heat and stayed late to turn off the lights.

To the one who cleaned the toilet and the one who changed the diaper.

To every single one of you, to every single one of us, I say thank you.

Thank you. On behalf of myself. On behalf of those we've blessed. On behalf of Jesus.

The things you do don't go unnoticed. God sees.

He sees your heart. He sees your obedience. He sees you.

"Then the King will say to those on His right:   'Come, you who are blessed by My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave Me food, I was thirsty and you gave Me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed Me, I was naked and you clothed Me, I was sick and you visited Me, I was in prison and you came to Me.'

Then the righteous will answer Him, saying:   'Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? And when did we see You a stranger and welcome You, or naked and clothe You? And when did we see You sick or in prison and visit You?'

And the King will answer them: 'Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to Me.'"
