Living on Higher Ground
By Rev. Dr. Jacqueline Triche Atkins We got up there! We made it to Higher Ground! We expanded our consciousness and moved on up to live on Higher Ground! There we reveled in the midst of our true value, our indwelling GOLD mines. We were in awe as we used all of the phenomenal tools to dissipate Dirty Doubt and find our beautiful GOLD nuggets. We felt so energized as we used effective tools to move out Funky Fear and were blessed by more GOLD nuggets. We were shown how to use an awesome tool to erase our Internalized Negatives that had been covering up more of our GOLD nuggets. We boldly proceeded with the tools used to release our Sabotaging Self-Esteem, recalling that we are powerful as we found more GOLD nuggets. And, maybe, most importantly, we began mining with a "hydraulic drill" to break up our Fossilized Unforgiveness. It was hard work; but, yes, we then tapped into lots and lots and lots of GOLD! Powerful women such as Dr. Terry Cole-Whittaker, author of such books as "What You Think of Me is None of My Business" and "Dare to be Great;" Rev. Dr. Shaheerah Stephens, Senior Pastor of Transforming Love Community in Detroit, Michigan; Rev. Dr. Sheila McKeithen, the first elected president of Universal Foundation for Better Living; Stephanie Wilson-Coleman, the Empowerment Doctor, Dr. Lisa Stewart, Senior Pastor of Spiritual Living Center of Greater Milwaukee, yours truly and 10 other powerful women from across the country shared wisdom and tools that the nearly 200 women who were present could use to mine for their GOLD.
The registered participants, from South Dakota, New York, California, Georgia, Wisconsin, Missouri, Ohio, Maryland, Virginia, Texas, and Illinois, came into a "cocoon of care and compassion" called The GOLD Rush Women's Conference 2015 to begin, or to continue, mining for their GOLD. We decided it was time to create our desired and deserved life experiences. We formed a world with wonderful communities such as a Community of Confidence, a Community of Faith, a Community of Pride, a Community of Love, a Community of Power and Community of Worthiness. We worked hard because we knew why we were there! We cried together, we laughed together, we talked together, and we formed a bond of love as we helped ourselves and as we helped each other. For some it was the beginning, for others, a continuation; but for everybody, it was a transformational experience that must be engaged in each and every year.
For those of you who were there, thank you for your consciousness!!!
Ladies, if you were unable to make it this year, you do not want to miss your opportunity in 2016!! So mark your calendar to join us on April 1 - 3, 2016, at our next transforming, gold mining adventure, The GOLD Rush Women's Conference 2016!

Immovable!
My Sisters we have arrived or are closer to "Living on Higher Ground." Forevermore as we continue along our journey, let's commit to remain on Higher Ground, and be IMMOVABLE "Surely she shall not be moved forever...trusting in the Lord." Psalm 112:6,7 I shall not be moved Just like a tree planted by its Source of Life, Accepting its provided nourishment, Growing into its God-given beauty, I shall not be moved. I shall not be moved. Even as the face of the Lord seems hidden And adversity appears to be advancing I shall stand on Higher Ground. I shall not be moved. I shall not be moved. Standing in the warmth of God's Love, Rejoicing as the rush of the Holy Spirit Soars through my world, I shall not be moved. Rev. Dr. Jacqueline Triche Atkins |
Gold Rush Testimonies
"On Friday after taking my luggage to the room and signing up for the workshops, I began to look at the vendor tables with the different items on them. There was a book called Fearless Women by Janet Grace Nelson. I remember looking at this book, and I heard my voice say "this is going to be me". During your session, I was placed in the Confidence Community which was symbol of what would be developing in me, but I did not know it. "
"I had been saying all weekend I am going to win, and my number was finally called. I remember seeing Fearless Women as one of the gifts. It was not until I had chosen the book that I realized the title was a representation of the rest of my life. I was also clear that my take away, the most important take away for me during the conference, was I am to live my life from the inside out." "I learned something from all of the workshops that I attended. It seems that I cried in them as well; and I received many golden nuggets when attending the general sessions. I just want to say thank you so very much for listening to the God of your being. I was truly blessed."
