Festival Fun
1ST ANNUAL MAIN STREET BASH 
August 31, 3-7 PM
Main Street Geneseo

In its first year, this free event for students and community members has lots to do! Featuring a Farmer's Market, live entertainment, food samplings, scavenger hunts, prizes, wagon rides and more.

NEW YORK STATE FESTIVAL OF BALLOONS

August 31 - September 4
Dansville Municipal Airport 
 
Now in it's 36th year, the New York State Festival of Balloons is a community event that goes for five days. Balloon launches begin Friday, September 1st with additional launches Saturday, Sept. 2nd and Sunday, Sept. 3rd. The final launch takes place Monday, September 4th. The annual open class car show takes place on September 3.

AUTUMN IN THE VILLAGE
September 9, 11 AM - 6 PM
Downtown Livonia


Livonia's Autumn in the Village celebration brings together families and folks of all ages to downtown Livonia. The day starts off with a parade at 11 am, then enjoy the arts and crafts, vendors, food, music and more.

2017 FARM FEST

Dairy Knoll Farms, Groveland 

Hosted by the Meyer family, this day on the farm entails family fun activities including: wagon rides, a straw maze, farm tours, a petting zoo, a kids tent, child safety cards by the Livingston County Sheriff's Office and more.

New Business Spotlight



HOOK AND SPOON 
Now open, this newly renovated waterfront bar and eatery on the north end of Conesus Lake is getting all the buzz. Whether you're taking a cruise out on the boat and want to stop in for casual cocktails and snacks at the bar,
or enjoying fine dining inside with the waterfront views, Hook and Spoon can accommodate everyone. The menu regularly features locally-produced food and an array of local and global beer, wine and spirits. Open for Dinner on Mondays and Thursdays starting at 4 PM , and for lunch and dinner on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays starting at 12 PM. OAK TREE HALF MARATHON AND 5K RUN/WALK
S eptember 3, 8-10 AM
Main Street Geneseo through Conservancy-protected land.

Run through the National Historic Landmark District of Geneseo and head into the Genesee Valley past Oak Grove savannahs, sheep pastures, and horse farms. Pass thousands of acres of permanently conserved landscapes, protected by Genesee Valley Coneservancy.

GREENWAY PASSPORT HIKE SERIES # 6
September 9, 10 AM - 12 PM
Town of York

Take River Road north from Route 63 or south from Route 20.  Turn east onto York Landing Road and meet at the trailhead parking lot located at the end of the road.  This hike is 3.1 miles long and is an easy, flat trail with a mixed surface .

POSITIVELY LIMA HISTORICAL TOUR
September 9, 11 AM - 4 PM
Lima Town Hall

Sponsored by the Lima Historical Society, this self guided tour features 6 of Lima's most well-known 19th century homes. The tour begins at the Lima Town Hall on East Main Street where tickets and maps will be available. An English tea will be served at the Presbyterian Church during the tour hours. Tickets cost $20 in advance and can be purchased here or by calling (585) 733-1885. Tickets cost $25 at the door.

KIDDING AROUND DOWNTOWN

Downtown Dansville 
Presented by Dansville Chamber of Commerce, this event offers a wide array of fun activities and family-oriented activities hosted by businesses and organizations throughout historic downtown Dansville. Start at Genesee Community College at Dansville on Clara Barton Street and stroll down Main Street to Dansville Public Library.
