HEMLOCK "LITTLE WORLD'S" FAIR
July 18-22, All Day
Hemlock, NY

FLYING ACES NATIONAL AT THE WARPLANE MUSEUM
July 20-22
 
Traditional building  and flying of free flight stick and tissue model aircraft. Although  competitive at times, the sharing of innovations, assistance  and camaraderie is second nature to all that  believe in the unique spirit of the Club. To register or learn more, click here.

WEST SPARTA OLD FASHIONED DAY
Saturday, July 29 10 AM-4 PM
The park at West Sparta Town Hall

Living history demonstrations and activities, antiques and classic cars and tractors, musical performances, food, arts and crafts. Wagon Rides, pony rides, petting zoo, and musical performances in the new pavilion.  Featured music from 2-3:30 PM.

ROCK CRITERIUM AND GRAND FONDO
July 22-23, Various Times
Perry, Warsaw and Avon 

Filled with cool courses and crazy challenges, we are the kind of party you can only have on a bike. This year's race features and airfield crit at the Perry Warsaw Airport and technical road race in Avon, NY along with a 2-mile run and three fondo rides. For more info or to sign up, click here.

A free event that celebrates rural living. A large variety of presentations and activities at six locations around Alfred, NY will include popular favorites like the bird walk at Foster Lake, gardens and garden talks, a timber framing shop, pottery display in a sugar shed, and an organic dairy farm. HIKING AT THE INDIAN FORT NATURE PRESERVE
3432 Jones Bridge Road
Open between sun-up and sun-down

Visitors can explore the same deep ravines utilized by the Iroquois, gullies with creeks, a small pond, and access to the Genesee River for fishing and small crafts on two miles of public hiking trails.

SUMMER DRAWING WORKSHOPS

Dansville Artworks

Melissa Gartz presents this series, ideal for ages 10-110. Basic introduction to four indispensable elements of drawing (value, perspective, form and line). No prior experience necessary. $20/person includes supplies, $15/person for subsequent classes using supplies originally provided.
