Botsford Commons hosts resident art exhibit, sale

The Botsford Commons Senior Community's Resident Watercolor Exhibit and Art Show is July 28-30 in Farmington Hills. The exhibit and art show begins Thursday, July 28 with a charity preview from 5-7 p.m. Tickets are $35, with all proceeds benefiting the "Next Stop, Our Bus" campaign, a project of the Botsford Foundation, to purchase a handicap-accessible bus for the senior community. DTE recycles 35,000 REFRIGERATORS at Livonia Facility DTE Energy is offering to pay customers $40 to recycle their old refrigerators and freezers, as part of the company's Appliance Recycling Program. DTE Energy has a program to pick up and recycle old refrigerators and freezers. If a consumer buys a new refrigerator or freezer after July 26 at a participating Sears store, they can select a convenient time for a crew to deliver the new unit to their home, and haul away the old unit, free of charge.
